Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor best known as the lead actor in the television show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. His love for acting started at the time of his college years. He pursued acting classes at University of Colorado at Boulder. He has appeared in both the television and film industry, but the small screen characters which earned him fame and an enormous fan base. This is not surprising since He is adept at playing characters of both the side of good and evil. He is also able attract an audience. He played the part of the serial killer in his first television series project and then went on to perform the role of an NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he's been awarded numerous nominations for the highly coveted Emmy Awards as well as the PRISM Awards. His piercingly blue eyes his face are thought as the most attractive characteristic. These are also regarded as trademarks, and have been recognized as helping him to portray people who are rough, however enthralling. He was listed in People's Magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
